Welcome to Lumive! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application and related services ("Service"). By accessing or using Lumive, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Lumive. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet the minimum age requirement and are legally permitted to use our services under the laws of your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

2. User Account

  1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  2. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your profile.
  3. You may not impersonate another person, use a fake identity, or create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes.
  4. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and post on Lumive.

3. User Conduct

By using Lumive, you agree not to:

  1. Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  2. Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
  3. Post, upload, or share illegal, explicit, defamatory, exploitative, or otherwise objectionable content.
  4. Use bots, automation tools, or any unauthorized means to manipulate interactions or access the Service.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend/terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without prior notice.

4. Subscription & In-App Purchase Policy

  1. Subscription Plans

    Lumive offers optional subscription plans and in-app purchases (“IAPs”) to enhance your experience. All subscriptions are auto-renewing unless canceled in Google Play before the renewal date.

    Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (e.g., weekly, monthly, yearly), depending on the plan you select. Prices and available plans are clearly displayed within the app and in Google Play before you confirm your purchase.

    Subscriptions and IAPs provide access to premium features such as advanced filters, unlimited messages, and enhanced exposure.

  2. Payment & Billing

    All payments are processed securely through Google Play Billing.

    The amount will be charged to your Google Account at the time of purchase confirmation.

    If you subscribe, your plan will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.

  3. Auto-Renewal & Cancellation

    Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle.

    You can cancel auto-renewal at any time through Google Play Store → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions.

    Cancellation will stop future charges, but you will retain access to premium features until the end of the current billing period.

  4. Refund Policy

    All purchases are final. Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play’s refund policy.

    Lumive does not provide direct refunds. Please request refunds through Google Play if eligible.

  5. Account Management

    Your subscription is tied to your Google Account and cannot be transferred to another account.

    If you uninstall Lumive without canceling your subscription, charges may still apply until canceled in Google Play.

  6. Price Changes

    We may update subscription or IAP prices from time to time.

    Any price change will be communicated in advance and will take effect at the next billing cycle.

    If you do not agree to the price change, you may cancel before the renewal date.

5. Privacy and Data Handling

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information. By using Lumive, you consent to our data practices.

Users may request to delete their accounts and data at any time either:

  1. Through the in-app settings, or
  2. By contacting us at contact@lumive.online

Upon deletion, all personal data, including profile information, chat history, and connections, will be permanently erased in accordance with Google Play and App Store policies.

6. Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of any content (e.g., text, photos) you post on Lumive. However, by submitting content, you grant Lumive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

This license continues even if you stop using our Services and/or delete your account.

7. Termination and Suspension

You may terminate your account at any time. Lumive reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

  1. You breach these Terms;
  2. You engage in behavior that is abusive, harmful, unlawful, or violates our community standards;
  3. Required by law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms or engage in behavior that we deem harmful to the community.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that matches will be made or that you will find meaningful connections through the platform.

Lumive is not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the platform. You acknowledge that you interact with other users at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumive and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Content Moderation and Reporting

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate or illegal content. Users may report content or behavior that violates these Terms via in-app reporting tools. Our moderation team reviews all reports promptly and takes appropriate action, including content removal or account suspension.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our community guidelines or applicable laws.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, notify you via the app or email.
